Looking around on the net, I didn't find any emulators or videos of 2600 emulation for the iPad. Does anyone know if there is any 2600 emulation currently running on the iPad?I don't have one, but still want to know.??I suppose there is no ios version of Stella. Also wondering, if you can hook an Atari CX-40 joystick to the stelladaptor to USB to lightning connector, and actually play 2600 games on an ipad with an original 2600 controller. (with an emulator) That was be pretty awesome.Orion
There was one for Jailbroken iOS.
2600.emu
Works with Bluetooth controllers like the Wii remote with classic Game Pad, iCade, and touch screen controls.
It was up to date at Stella 3.8.1. It is a shame that it is gone!
It helps in my 2600 batari Basic development.
I don't have a Stelladapter, I don't think that would work.
Jailbreak turns the iPad into a computer with file system access, downloading, uploading...
I do copy ROMs to SD cards for Harmony and PSP, so the iPad does have USB with the camera connector (unlike the half truth that Windows tablet commercial says).
